This is a FHC Advance High School Ministry trip and is only open to students. In the Summer of 2016, the student must be a rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade or a Senior that has just graduated. They will travel to Santa Marta, Colombia and serve with SAM, and alongside Colombian youth. The week will be focused on reaching families for Christ through church-based Bible Clubs and service projects.

Requirements

Prerequisites

  1. Valid Passport that Does Not expire within 6 months of the trip return date
  2. $110 Non-refundable Deposit

Responsibilities

  1. Commit to attending 6-8 team meetings
  2. 100% of Trip fees are due 10 days prior to departure, or participant is ineligible to travel

Restrictions

  1. Youth must at least be a rising 10th,11th, or 12th grader or a Senior that just graduated.
  2. Must have previously served on a Domestic Trip

Preparation

  1. Check CDC website for needed immunizations http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/
  2. Purchase and read "Foreign to Familar" by Sarah Lanier
