In 1994, a Guatemalan woman named Tita Evertsz began volunteering her time in La Limonada. The impact she has made and her heart of service is inspiring. Tita and her team in Guatemala consider La Limonada a “cathedral on the streets”—a place where God dwells and where heaven meets earth. It is a place where “holy moments” are experienced every day. As Tita says, “It’s a beautiful place. I can sit at the edge of La Limonada… and all I smell is hope… and I like it.”
We are so excited to be taking our first team of high school students to Guatemala city. We could use your support. What does that look like?
Our trip to La Limonada costs $1,800, with payment installations beginning in April. If you are interested in financially supporting this trip, any amount that you feel led to contribute will be greatly appreciated.
More important, I ask that you cover our team in your prayers! Here is how you can pray for myself and the team:

Prerequisites
- Valid Passport that Does Not expire within 6 months of the trip return date
- $110 Non-refundable Deposit
Responsibilities
- Commit to attending 6-8 team meetings
- 100% of Trip fees are due 10 days prior to departure, or participant is ineligible to travel
Restrictions
- Youth must be at least a rising 9th grader
