Hooray! We’ve safely made it to our guest house in Guatemala City! We had no issues with flight delays, luggage, or customs, so we are thankful to have had such a great travel day!
Once we arrived at the guest house, we were able to meet with Tita. She’s the founder of Vidas Plenas, the ministry that is on the ground in La Limonada. She did a general overview of their ministry, which was eye opening. She described the many needs of this community, what their strategies are, and ultimately the answer.... Jesus. Everything they do here on the ground is grounded in faith and our team is grateful to be joining in that this week.
Tomorrow will begin our work week running the dental clinic and making house visits in the community. Pray for us as we hit the ground running! Enjoy some fun pictures of our group and even our fearless leader, Doug, getting a lesson on washing dishes!!
