It feels so good to help!!!!

As a little girl I remember going with my middle school classmates to visit an orphanage. Our "little mission" was to play with the girls of our age. We had to play with them, we had to talk to them, we had to make them feel important...

... I remember the feeling of sadness that I experienced when I visited them.... they didn't have toys, they didn't celebrate their birthdays, they had to share a room with a bunch of other girls.... they were so poor, but so rich at that same time

Several years after our "little mission" we received letters from those girls.... our short visits were so important for them, they felt so blessed with our visit, so happy with our companionship.... little that I knew we were making a big impact on their lives.

Going to this mission trip to Colombia, South America, will be difficult... I will miss my family very much but they understand that sharing my life for 9 days with people in need is important.

Thanks for taking the time to read my history, thank you for your encouragement, thank you for your prayers.
Love and many blessings for you
