Wednesday's in La Limonada are used for prayer. Tita, the founder of the academies, leads her team of teachers and staff on a prayer walk through the community. Today, we joined her team to walk through the neighborhood of Lima. We prayed for specific streets and sections of the neighborhood that have increased violence. We sang songs with the homeless and elderly. We prayed with a woman who was abused and needs work.
There are so many needs in this community, but it was encouraging to be around a group of people who fully trust God and what he's doing here. We were humbled to be a small part of that today.

After our morning of prayer, we continued with the dental clinic and home visits. We ended our day by reflecting on the good news of the gospel. We are praying that Jesus is our focus as we care for this community for the remainder of the week. Thank you for all of your support!
